As part of the U.S. / Russia Peer to Peer Dialogue Program, a team from the Institute for Human Centered Design (IHCD) traveled to Moscow for eight days. Working in partnership with the national Russian non-profit Perspektiva, the IHCD team of Lise Capet, Willa Crollius, and Stacy Hart visited schools (integrated and segragated schools of "defectology") to give workshops and meet with educators, parents and students to discuss methods of inclusive education and universal design tools for learning.

In honor of the 24th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we are proud to host an exhibition of artist with disabilities at the Institute for Human Centered Design (IHCD). The goal of this show is to celebrate the ADA by showcasing the works of artists with  various disabilities. The call is open to all artists ages 14 and above living in New England who have a disability. We encourage emerging artist and experienced artists alike to apply. This is a juried competition.

The call is open to poets of all ages living in New England novice and experienced who have a disability.

Can you tell us why some college students get the help they need to succeed in school and why others don't and drop out?

Can you provide some insight to us so that we can create a campaign to help students with disabilities stay in school and graduate?
