Large Print

Question:

I’m visually impaired and have difficulty reading my bank statement. Can I ask the bank to send me bills in large print?

Answer:

Under the ADA, banks are places of public accommodations, and businesses must provide auxiliary aides if necessary for a person with a disability to participate.  The bank can ensure effective communication by providing large print statements or another solution unless it can show that doing so would be an undue burden.
